# Changing the Nginx Upload Size Limit

Resolve a 413 request-body error by adjusting Nginx’s client_max_body_size setting.

With the default Nginx HTTP proxy configuration, request bodies are limited to 1 MB. A larger request can return **413 Request Entity Too Large**.

Adjust `client_max_body_size` in the Nginx configuration. This example raises the limit to 8 MB:

    ...
